Commercial and Residential Real Estate Investing Opportunities On The Rise
Commercial and Residential Real Estate Investing Opportunities On The Rise
Despite a flagging economy, there are pockets of hope and promise in today’s real estate markets. For some these opportunities come about at the cost of millions of dollars in investments gone up in smoke, but for others, these losses present great buying opportunities.
Several sectors of the residential and commercial real estate investing markets provide great opportunities.
For example, Stephen Eaton at Denton mini-storage has found that he can buy mini-storage units at deep discounts from troubled owners, then make a few changes to improve the properties, which have usually fallen into some degree of disrepair, and then either hold on to the property waiting for local market commercial real estate prices to increase, or simply enjoying the positive cash flows spun off as a result of the low investment to rental income ratios.
Similarly, Andrew T. at Downers Grove houses for sale is investing in Chicago area residential real estate, including single family homes, duplexes, triplexes and even some multi-family residential properties.
Many apartment and multi-family real estate owners have found that being a landlord is a heavy burden in a down economy. Rental rolls shrink as tenants find that they can no longer afford rental contracts that they entered into in better times, and the resulting malaise and dissatisfaction can sometimes result in lack of payment, evictions and abuse to the properties they live in.
Investors who are prepared to deal with the challenges of multi-family real estate investing can come to the rescue of multi-family property owners for whom commercial real estate investing has lost its luster, purchase the properties at fair prices and relieve the former owners of those burdens.

How to Protect Skin-Part V
How to Protect Skin-Part V
So who exactly are those in the threat of having skin cancer? People who have already experienced three or more bad cases of sunburn before reaching the age of twenty and regular sunbathers who always crave for an instant tan have greater risks of acquiring the dreaded skin disease known as melanoma. Cricketers, farmers, golf players and others, who have long exposure to the sun, have more tendencies to have milder forms of skin cancer.
So after learning how the body reacts to sunlight here is some information on how to prevent its harmful effect.
Ironically, studies on skin care show that Vitamin D, with the help of sunlight exposure, is what can help the body combat skin cancer.
So how does one go out in the open without the paranoia of cancer haunting him? Dermatologists suggest the use of sunscreens.
Researches showed that exposure to sunlight sans sunscreen should be less than 10 to 15 minutes at noon, while the sun is at its strongest. Using a sunscreen with an SPF or sun protection of 15 or higher is recommended. People with sensitive skin and the older adults should use an SPF of 30 or stronger because their skin tends to burn more easily. People with allergies or sensitive skin should also take note of the ingredients and choose those that are free of chemicals, dyes, preservatives, and alcohol. (Here’s where you can find more detailed information on skin care and skin lightening cream.)
If sun exposure will be particularly high, using a stronger sunscreen like zinc or titanium oxide is the better option, as it will completely stop sunlight from reaching the skin. Sunscreen application should be about half an hour before getting exposed into the sun and reapplication should be done every few hours. And when going swimming, one should know that 98 percent of the sun’s rays can pass through water, so without some kind of “water-resistant” sun screen and frequent applications, sunburn might be inevitable.
The skin is meant to protect and shield one from the threats of the environment so unless one properly cares for it, it won’t do its job that well.

Furniture Quality is Worth the Price
Furniture Quality is Worth the Price
When shopping for furniture online you will find sites like Thomasville, furniture.com, and others. But my favorite has to be Max furniture. They have a great selection of unique furniture. Many of their pieces cannot be found anywhere else. To go with that the prices at Max furniture are very reasonable. They are not cheap but they will not break your bank either. I mean you really do get what you pay for when it comes to furniture. We have all purchased a desk from Walmart before I am sure, only to have it start wobbling and breaking down after a few months of use.
Trust me; you want to go with quality. I also like the room planner that Max furniture offers. It lets you see what your room would look like with a certain piece of furniture. A nifty program as it allows you to work with different layouts of a room before going through the trouble of purchasing.

Real Estate Investors Find Great Opportunities In Foreclosure Market
Real Estate Investors Find Great Opportunities In Foreclosure Market
As the foreclsoure market has continued to expand, real estate investors are increasingly realizing more and more income from purchasing foreclosure properties and then offering those foreclosure properties for sale.
For example, Mary B. of San Diego Foreclosure For Sale goes out into the market and identifies attractive real estate that has gone through the foreclosure process or where the property owner has received a notice of default on a property.
She then negotiates with the bank, note holder, or in the case of a pre-foreclosure - the property owners, and purchases the distressed real estate for a very attractive price that is usually only a fraction of the current retail value of the property.
Banks and note holders are willing to accept these lower prices because they are not in the business of owning real estate and they like the prospect of taking some money for the defaulted loan, taking the loss and moving on with their lending business.
Like Mary, Scott Duff, of Palm Beach House Buyer in Palm Beach, Florida makes his money investing in real estate that he buys from foreclosures, distressed property owners and banks who no longer want to own the property or paper underlying it.
Scott finds the properties, purchases them, fixes them up and then markets and sells them to retail buyers who are happy to be able to buy property at 80% - 90% of market value. Since Scott bought the property for 60% - 70% of market value, he is able to make a nice profit while still offering great deals to his buyers.
